As the title suggests, I drove through a 'puddle' last week in my impreza Mk1, the one with the ignition boxes on the ends of the plugs. The 'puddle' ended up touching the bottom of the windscreen, when it rains here it really rains. the car survived the swim for about 300m, then konked out, starting again about 4 hours later. I have had the oil and all fluids changed and had the sump off to have a look at the bottom end. Any further thoughts on things I should be looking for. It just doesn't 'feel' the same.

You know anyone with a paint oven?
A day in one for your car might help.

A puddles something you splash through in your wellies , you sir went through a river in a subaru !

I reckon the whole car needs a proper dry , it could be any thing , wet contacts , dampness in god knows what .

Im sorry i cant be of more help , but surely you cant question why its not running right , its obvious.
