how to stop my locks freezing up...
Discussion
just went to get into the car.......bugger, key won't even insert into the keyhole, let alone twist to unlock the door.
i have just got some lock de-icer but would rather see if i can try something that will stop it (or at least help) freezing over. i've got some bilt hamber ferrosol (better version of WD40) or some thick grease, both of those should, in theory, help stop water getting in, but i'm not so sure.
any thoughts?
thanks guys.

WD-40 apparently... failing that a warm kettle of water usually does the trick
remember trying this last year, worked a treat, but it then froze over again pretty quick
think i'd use the de-icer in a bit and then spray plenty of ferrosol in there. hopefully that'll help.
any further suggestions welcome

i hate winter
