Audi S3 Inner Door Handle Failure

Has anyone experienced failure of the inner door handle on their Audi S3?

I had to have the passenger inner door handle replaced earlier in the year, thankfully it was under warranty, today the driver side inner door handle fail spectacularly. The screws have ripped from the door panel and the arm rest has a crack emanating from the electric window controls.
