Odd insurance question
Discussion
Hi all
One of my team at work claims that they cannot drive because the approaching headlights make it difficult to see. They subsequently have to leave early to avoid the dark. They also claim that, because of their condition, their insurance company will not insure them to drive when it is dark therefore their insurance at this time is invalid.
Now, I am sure this is all a bit of "billy", but there is that little bit of nagging doubt in my mind. I do, personally, struggle a little bit with flare from headlights and can find myself with a bit of a headache after an hour or so through busy country lanes, which I suppose is why I have that little bit of doubt.
Has anyone got a policy, or know of one that prohibits them driving in the dark? Better still, are there any insurance specialists who might actually know if this type of restriction exists?
