Right here's the brief.

£3000 at most
Good handling
comfortable
reliable
cheapish parts/mechanics
and maybe be either large enough to carry a mountain bike or hold a bike rack
and most importantly it has to be a fun enthusiasts car

I could think of a few cars that match 90% of the requirements until you put about a roof rack wobble.

It depends what you mean by fun. Any age preferences? petrol or diesel?

That budget should buy a very decent Clio 172 with change for a bike rack.
