Winter Wheels - 4 Options - Help

Found some 15" winter wheels on eBay for about £100. Fronts are good brand winters, but the back are missmatching ditchfinders (Pace / Event)

Do I:
A - buy them, use all 4, hope for the best
B - buy them, replace rears, mourn empty wallet and enjoy
C - run staggered wheels (my current 18's with FK452's at the back, the winters at the front, rolling radius the same)
D - not bother.

Car is a FWD MG ZT, and weighs in at 1.6 tons..

It's a big mistake to mix tyres like that.

You need the same potential grip on front and rear or it's a recipe for disaster.

A set of Avon Ice Tourings in 205/55x16 set me back £230 so not that expensive considering how good they are.
