You can choose one of 3 cars all of them have 400Bhp per ton with the driver onboard. They are all RWD and 2 seats with a manual 6 spd box and LSD.
The 500kg car is in the caterham mould and has bugger all in the way of creature comforts oh and it has a crap top speed
The 1000Kg car is in the MX5 mould and has weather protection and has the very basic in creature comforts like a radio and bugger all else it has an average top speed
The 2000Kg car is in the Mercedes line of things and has every single electrical toy you could ever think of and has the highest top speed
Now which one do you choose for your second fun car and why?
I would go for the 500kg car as i love the lightness and directness that comes from such a car

Middle one!
Your caterham is going to be considerably closer to 300 bhp/tonne than 400 bhp/tonne once you've added the driver...

Middle one.
Can put up with 'moderate' creature comforts (VX220 style) but probably not the most basic for an everyday car.
In the UK, there is very little opportunity to use the massive speed that the 2tonner would come with. I think that decent handling and a decent amount of clout is a better compromise.
I'm a fat git too and my weight would blunt the lighter one more than the middleweight.
Edit - Idiot here didn't read properly, disregard the everyday car comment.

The CaterField every time, in the pursuit of driving pleasure, there's no need for creature comforts, that's what a second car is for.
Plus have you seen the price of a gearbox on the SL63 AMG? I know of someone who sold one, one of their reasons was that when the gearbox goes it's eyewatering and a long wait.
ETA. although why stop at 200bhp?
Westfield TVR V8

Having driven a 205bhp Seven a few weeks ago (slightly more than 500kg's though, so probab ~350-375bhp/ton, that would be it for me.
I don't have much experience or fast cars, but it was beyond phenomenally quick. It was mad, bad and I loved it! My dad's wasn't too bad with 140bhp either!
