Well I've not been frequenting the gassing station much of late. Since I finished university I've been holidaying at my parents and early tomorrow morning I'm leaving for Auckland where my new job is. Two negatives with this..... 1. I'm not sure when my next PH dose will be as I'm as yet "No fixed abode" (well that and my darned antiquated computer's playing up and 2. The TR7 will not be coming with me and instead I'll be driving the old Mitsubishi Spacewagon.... a faceless numptymobile if ever you saw one!
Auckland would present a bad vandalism/theft risk with a TR7 so im storing her down here. IF I can score a place with a garage (not blimmin' likely) then MAYBE i can bring her up in a few months (which means ANOTHER summer with the convertible in the garage..... what does a bloke have to do?). Upshot of this is I'm going to be suffering some nasty withdrawl symptoms in the near future.

Oh well, toodle pip boys. I can rely on mungo to keep the home fires burning until I can regail you of tales of pulling Auckland birds (hahaha in a spacewagon? I think not!). Ted, please put my pie in the warming drawer, my beer back in the fridge and hopefully it'll not be long before I'm up and running once more (hey at least I'll be doing a job that pays money instead of uni sucking it out of me!).

George.

Esprit, and just think about all those roads without Gatsos and numpties, but avoid Auckland - Hamilton stretch one of the worst killers!!!!!
And also better beer and rugby than in GB at the moment!!!!

Heheeh? I've been watching with great glee the English play good rugby lately I agree with the Auck/Hamilton stretch being a Killer.... that's why i go via Matamata etc... longer journey but less congested, clerarer and better roads and less time
Only bloody time I've been done by a speed camera was on the Auck motorway in the parent's E30 BMW 320i, simple case of not being used to the auto's lack of engine braking (of course the bugger of a camera was at the bottom of a steep hill) and with a fully packed up 1500cc Wagon chucking out all of 20 bhp I doubt speeding even being possible even though I'll be cruising it and just sticking to the limit.... I'd go slower as I'm in no hurry but I don't want to be a nuisancing numpty :P

Thanx ted and thanks all.... see you on the flipside.

Esprit's Final Thought: "Hey.... wait a minute, I'm not a student any more... I'm a qualified Mechanical Engineer...... hey does anyone want anything badly designed?"

Ah. Just realised this is the Auckland on the other side of the world, and not the one just down the road from Darlington. The missing Bishop should have given me a clue I suppose. Good luck.

Well looks like I'm gonna be spending the next wee while on my mates couch till i can find a flat... flatitng in Auckland is both expensive and difficult to find one suitable.... The flat that i HAVE found isn't tooo bad bit of a hike to work in rush-hour traffic, might be an excuse to dust off the boke and lose the flab

Anyhow, hope all is well with you all!

Esprit,
try and get a flat in Dartmouth, cheaper and the ferry to downtown is cheap, and you've no parking probs in Dartmouth!
