Bloody disgusting, small fine, a poultry ammount of compensation to the kids and the dog goes free. What bloody century are these magistrates living in? The message is loud and clear, let your dog bite whoever it likes, pooh everywhere and generally cause mahem, but don't you dare speed cos they take away your livelihood. Time to form the magistrate punishment squad

I agree with you. Letting the dog go free was scandalous. She should have been sent to Holloway for at least a 6-stretch...

I fail to see what the kids would do with all these chickens they've been awarded

The best bit I heard though was:
"The Magistrate decided not to have the bitch put down"

Which Bitch?

Priceless!

I was in Slough yesterday, to visit my old company, which is over the road from the police station. The amount of police presence, road closures, waiting cars and bikes must have cost more than the £500 fine, or is she going to be paying for those costs too?

Here we go, another thread pecking away at the monarchy
When are you Bantam weights going to find something more worthwhile to cluck about. Stop letting yourselves get so cooped up and go free range for a while....

Compensation to the victims?

Firstly, that the Princess Royal was put in this situation in the first place is a damned disgrace but I would have thought the republicans delighted that this 'blow for democracy' or 'levelling' action a suitably enriching, symbollic blow for their cause.

Second, I am sure that the level of prosecution was pertinent in a strict legal sense. I suspect the cries for more severe retribution is bourne of little more than the basic 'anti' inherent within those that cry foul...

(Interestingly, where was this figure of hate at the time of the trial? Hmmm...oh yes, in Ethiopia, doing for real what Diana did for her kudos...something Anne has being doing tirelessly, for years, largely under the relatively dim illumination of a media disinterested in that shock horror concept - a Royal who actually works her butt off.)

And finally the compensation itself; I wonder, of all the dog attacks in this land every year, how many are the result of Gazz's tattooed pit bull or Shazz's satanic doberman (no doubt called, inerestingly enough, Satan)? Do these people pay their victims additional compensation, I wonder?

Not to worry; I'm sure 'Scrounging Bastard Leeches Direct And £250 UP FRONT And Nothing To Pay If Our Ambulance Chasing Locusts Don't Win Direct' will be on the phone tonight offering their services.

Rollocks. Rule Britannia, God save the Queen. This is Albion and it's a monarchy.

Go derestricter!
The fact that this even has made the news is a joke. Dogs bite people every day so why is this so interesting? Oh shit yeah 'cos it's owned by HRH, you know I'm sure the dog is perfectly aware of it's social position........ FFS one of mine bit me last night when we were playing, I must 'phone an agent.
I think the thing that makes me laugh is that the people who claim to be republicans are the ones who's wasted obsession merely perpetuates the noteriety of their target hence ensuring their survival. For gods sake use your energy on something that matters.
Don't want to talk about the "Plastic Princess" as I'm actually in a good mood today and don't want to spoil it.

If the Royals had banned the peasants from their back garden none of this would have happened.

Deristrictor, you have obviously been asleep. We are part of fortress europe and the royal parasites are irrelavent. As for the compensation, I am quite sure satan owners get clobbered when their pooch goes ballistic. If I had been faced with anne's bitch biting my kid they thing would have breathed its last there and then. What is with dog lovers who think its OK to let them loose in public places? I get in all sorts of trouble for kicking them in the sea when I catch them running around the marina. I bloody hate dogs nearly as much as the royal family. The only possible use for them is pissing on speed cameras.
