Highlight: Seeing an XJ220 hooning down the A50 in Derbyshire

Lowlight: Numpty flashing me because I overtook someone. He was about quarter of a mile away when he flashed me and I was back on my side of the road for about 10 seconds before he passed me. Knob. He got a friendly wave from me though. In reality I wanted to beat his head into the dashboard of his Previa. Do I have an anger management problem?

My weekend consisted of:

Highlight: Seeing my girlfriend in Glasgow this weekend.

Highlight - getting to drive my cerbera on my own with the windows open getting cold. Winning a tenner on the lottery, going out for sunday lunch.

Lowlight - My 18 month old son throwing up in the back seat of the cerbera, missing james bond because the cinema website booking form was wrong and they did not have any seats on Sunday

Lowlight - having to drive them home at 6.30am on Sunday morning and narrowly avoiding some a'hole who jumped a red light.

Highlight:

Saving myself £26,000 when I realised (during a test drive) that a Lotus Elise is too small for me to drive comfortably.

Lowlight:

See above.

I have two, if that's OK?

Lowlight: not realising soon enough that the occasional "clonk" from the washing machine, and my inability to find my mobile phone were in fact related.

Highlight: phone insurance

Lowlight: Cambridge-South Coast-Cambridge round trip. Was dropping a PC off for a friend (he hasn't got a car at the moment, so only real option) and bringing him back here for a party as my place. Eight, count 'em, hours for the round trip. Fer feck's sake.

The southbound queue for the Dartford Bridge started about three miles north of it, and the accident we were all slowing for a good gander at was some six or so miles *south* on the other feckin' carriageway.

And on the way north I cocked up my attempt to find Thurrock services, and found myself heading south over the bridge again. Aggggh.

Highlight: much later on after the party, mungo styleee.

Highlight: party on saturday night, plus finding a copy of GTA Vice City

Lowlight: The 405-of-doom blowing either the exhaust downpipe or manifold on the way home on friday night. Neither easy to fix cos the exhaust is on the back side of the engine, and it's tilted back at a spasticated angle, if it's the manifold - I'm paying someone to strip the studs out the head for me rather than spend a day doing it myself. The exhaust will come off tomorrow...

fcukin french piece of crap!

Highlight: A nice chilled out morning yesterday watching the fog lifting off the marina with coffee and brunch and Sunday papers. Oh, and taking the Porsche for it's weekly Optimax dosage yesterday afternoon.

Lowlight: Navigating Milton Keynes Christmas shopping on Saturday, gazing in utter desperation at all the filth dressed in trakkie bottoms and pique polo shirts of dubious "designer" quality, looking like car thieves and swearing vociferously at their children. Great.
