It was fcuking brilliant fun. 35 miles, new World Record time of about 26 or 27 minutes, nearly all sweeping A-roads with a couple of villages and some motorway. I turned the boost right up, was cruising at 110mph, hit 150mph a couple of times, overtook about five cars in total at some outrageous closing speeds, utterly glorious fun!

There's not normally a lot of traffic about on my commute, but today was exceptionally fantastic

I am very proud of myself; today I drove really fast, I loved it, and I AM NOT ASHAMED!

It was in my overboosted Supra; and I've played enough GT3 to distinguish PS2 from reality

It was just one of those trips that reminds you why you spend so much time and money on a sportscar when your "reasonable side" is saying "if you'd bought a Micra diesel you'd have an extra £400 a month to spend on other stuff". And it also reminded me that it's still possible to have fun in this godforsaken Gatso wasteland (remembered to slow down for both of the buggers fortunately)

It was Hertfordshire to Cambridgeshire actually, I just stay away from the main roads like the M11, A14 etc. No, I'm not divulging details of my "secret" route, for reasons of national security

Oh well, I fear you've give enough away already sir. I know exactly where you're talking about!

I did that one last night in fact. Can't quite boast the Vmax's you describe, but can well beleive them...

I would suggest the A505, A11 then the villages myself if I'm not to far off the mark. The A14 is a minger of a road full of miopic lane swooping muppets.

Go anti-clockwise. The road are less crowded and alot more fun. If your lucky you might spot Bonce or me going the other way...

I am always an advocate of the long route to work. After all you might as well have fun on the way , 'cos you won't while you're there!
