How far does everyone drive to & from their offices each day and how long does it take?

My usual journey is 38 miles each way and on average it takes me 50 minutes.

30 miles from rural Hertfordshire into entral London.

Takes about 45 minutes.

at least 12 miles each way, can take between half an hour in the morning and up to 40 minutes in the evening.

Edited to change mileage to at least 12 miles, as I have to go slightly further than fish.

25 km (15 miles) each way, through Budapest, 45 mins in the morning if I leave at 06.30, 50-60 minutes home in the evening at normal times.

4 miles from Putney to Wimbledon.

Usually it takes about 20 minutes, it has taken over an hour and a half though.

Oh, and even in a TVR its cheaper than the tube!

If working in Hemel office - 18 miles, between 35 minutes and an hour.

If working in Brentford office - 50 miles, around an hour in the early early hours, up to nearly 4 (only happened once thank god) if the M4 elevated section is closed......

28 to 32 miles (depending on whether I take the A12 or A13 from the M11) East Herts to Docklands. Takes me an hour during the week at 8am or 31 minutes at 1am on a Sunday morning (don't ask!)

20 miles from Leamington to Redditch next year 'cos my company's moving!

I travel two point seven miles by car which takes about ten minutes. Next summer I intend to use the cycle path which should reduce the distance to two miles.

Oh I will use a bike....

Terminator, on that route (M11 to Docklands), what do you reckon to the A13 way? I always use the A12, and try to be getting on to it by 0630. I'm getting a bit fed up with the last mile of A12 on the way back out, but assumed that getting on to the A406 from Docklands by any other route would be worse.

Do you go straight out along the A13, or via City Airport, on the back roads?

Or an hour if I take the scenic route

Depending on the weather...

Rainy, wet and very horrid = 4 miles
Plain old horrid = 8 miles
Nice day can be over 25 miles

Depending on the traffic all journeys can take the same length of time

Going in, I use the 406 then the A13 (I work in Canning Town). Going home, I use the A12 to Redbridge as trying to get to Beckton by any route is a waste of time.

26 miles each way which takes about 30 minutes from stepping out of the door to at the desk.

But when theres an accident on the M4, about 90 minutes.

Or 40 minutes on the backroads which is much more fun and the same distance

OK, OK, I know I should walk but I sometimes take the long route (35 miles) when it's sunny and a TVR run is in order

....6 miles each way for me (central Stockport to central Manchester), use the M60 so anything from 20 mins to over an hour

5 km (3 as the crow flies) in 7 minutes.
Bus equivalent? walk 10 minutes to bus station, wait 15 minutes, travel 15 minutes to the wrong village, wait another 15 minutes in the pouring rain or amongst the stinkies and then get another bus for 5 minutes to my (work)village at a cost of 3 Euros 50! and almost 1 hour! Thats german efficiency for you!

About 10 miles each way i think, usually takes around 20 mins unless i get stuck behind a bus then it takes around oooooooooooohhh A DAY!!!!!
