Over the past few weeks I have noticed there seem to be a hell of a lot PH'ers in and around the Cambridge Area.
I don't know about you guys, but I was thinking it would be cool to have a bit of a get together at some point. If you're on the south side of town VW is in reach, but I'm not.
So how about it....
-don't know where or when yet, we can think on that bit-
...I propose a Punt and Pie meet, when I say punt, I'm not talking flat bottomed river craft here (which incidently should be rear driven
).

Went to a very eccentric pub near Duxford once called the Tickel Alms or something like that. Good food and nice gardens but can't remember how big the car park was. Think you need to book as well. Was it near Sawston?

Yes the Tickle Arms, Whittlesford I think.
A school friend of our's used to work there...
...he used to talk of very strange going's on involving the not-altogether-hetro landlord, his large dog, late nights... I can't remeber enough to make this funny, but I do know that said owner moved away to Austrailia.
It's probably still quite eccentric though.
Could be a good venue. Easy to get to, not in town, plenty of parking....that's one...

The Tickell Arms is in the middle of the Village, nice pub but I'd saya bit up market for the rowdy goings on of Pistonheaders. It's also changed hands in the last year and is now a foodie place, not that I'd know as whenever I've tried to get a table it's been booked.
I'd be up for a Cambridge meet, although with Bonce and Adam (GTIR) there it would like be like being in the office

Quy mill's very good for me, hailing from Burwell as I do. Are we the hotel down the windy track or the pub in the village?

Sady for me Bonce, the best ways to see Twink are in the dark or at high speed. She got loads of character and I think a great looker, but she's in her mid teens and her complextion showes it in places.
