I just looked up a beeb website and found this.....

The guy could buy a round for the local rugby team (mental calc ... thirty odd quid) who could pick it up between them (another mental calc ... call it 1200 kg, that'd be about 80kg each, OK you might want two teams) and move it to wherever took their fancy. The nearest double yellow line might be appropriate.
We had a similar problem when someone parked some pile of junk across our driveway. Fortunately, a passing Landrover Defender just happened to be dragging a bit of rope behind it which mysteriously got caught in the tow hook of the pile of junk and dragged it down the road to the nearest yellow line. At that point, the rope became untangled. Lucky eh?

Maybe if the police used a bit of "common sense" instead of "going by the book" we might all have a bit more respect for them? All the officer needed to say was "well if it were to move onto the raod as mysteriaously as it arrived on your driveway then what could we do?" nudge nudge... That's the problem these days, there's not a lot common sense around anymore. R...
He needs to call the AA/RAC and tell them he's lost the keys and also can't get his other car out of the garage. They come round, decide he's a kosher punter and he does own the house at this address etc., and then break into the car for him and move it to the roadside.
Would this work? If not then it's defintely a case of breaking into the car and letting it roll into the road - causing an obstruction (make sure there are people to warn approaching traffic). The Police will turn up in a few minutes to move it.
No fingerprints, no evidence it was Mr house owner if done at 2AM - what are they going to do?
Seems strange to leave such an expensive car (unless it's not yet reported as stolen).

Seem to remember from a similar case some years back that if someone parks on your property you're legally entitled to charge them for doing so and prevent them removing their vehicle until they pay.
Might be worth this bloke investing in a wheel clamp...
