3. George Lazenby
4. Pierce Brosnan
5. David Niven
6. Timothy Dalton

Sean Connery by far the best though IMO!

Yes, he did Casino Royale which was a James Bond film even though it gets dismissed as a spoof. I could be wrong but I think that Ian Fleming even wrote the story.

Casino Royale was written by Ian Flemming. It might be the first Bond book, I don't remember. Certainly an early one, back in the 50's

It was the first Bond book (and quite a good one as well) and the only thing it had in common with the movie was that it revolved around gambling. If you are thinking of reading Fleming, start with this one. It does a good job at introducing Bond...

When I was younger I thought Moore was best - don't know why exactly but it might have been the comedy judo chops and suits he wore!! However after watching earlier Bonds Connery is the best.

Pierce is the worst though and I haven't enjoyed any of the ones with him in it.

Quick trivia teaser for you that came from the pub quiz the other night..

Which game show host was the first person to play James Bond ?

The game show was in the eighties and one of our PH membership was a contender, a certain AndrewD. Students were the contestants.
