My new year in Paris

Just thought I would say hello and tell you about my rather torrid time in Paris for new year.
I was with my Dutch friends and we headed for Champs Elyses, as we all thought it was the place to be. Well, all I can say is no coutdown, no fireworks, and lots of gangs of kids terrorising anyone young old or unawares.
I saw at least two groups of girls being harrassed by around 20/30 kids.
I had my phone stolen from my ear! But I was pretty alert (thanks dutchy friends) and I chased the little terd and got my phone back, to much applause from the onlookers!
I also got a good punch to his face, and at that moment his friends ran a mile.
We had a further hoo haa when a german couple who were with us were attaked by a group of 20 kids while having a pee, just off the champs. We were only 6 strong and they scattered like dogs when we ran at them. Gutless.
The police were more worried about people selling "illegal" roasted chestnuts, than bother about real crime.
CS gas was thrown in the crowd twice and all my friends were effected, but not me for some reason. maybe it was because I was wearing contact lenses?
Anyway, I will never go there again. The night was saved when we went to a pub until 5am. Tops.
Happy New year, I am just going off too see the ladies of the red night.
edited to add: The German girl, Vanessa, was the most sexiest creature I have EVER met in my life!

Going on the Champs Elysées at this period of the year is completely suicidal.
I wish you knew about it before you all went there.
