The scum who killed one little girl and seriously injured another has admitted causing death by dangerous driving; he also faces charges of TWOC, failure to stop at the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.
Given that these days judges seem to be more inclined to administer a pat on the head and the 'poor lamb, comes from a broken home, can't blame him really' routine rather than 20 years hard labour,
a) what should be his sentence and
b) what do you think will he actually get? Discuss...

He'll probably sue the kid's parents for damaging the car, sue the owners of the car for having a car that he could break into and steal at just the wrong time for him to go crashing it (ie 5 mins earlier etc they'd not have been there) and he'll sue the police, media and anyone else for defamation more than likely.
He'll come out with a free holiday, mansion house and the keys to the city.
He should go down for 15-20 for the kid, with consecutives of 5yrs at least for nicking the car etc. Parole should be suspended until at least the murder and one of the consecutives is out, and he should be made to serve the sentence strung to the cell roof by his bollocks...

I noticed a thread about this sentence cam up on the this is london chat room... basically the guardinistas were trying to say the pressure groups like the aa rac and abd were lobbying for lighter sentences for irresponisble drivers
As you can imagine that rather got me started ! Twoccing cars should warranty a community service first offence and jail for a second offence very simple
But the tarriff for these combined crimes and a tragic loss of life should be minimum five years (therfore a sentence of ten years)

I just saw this on Sky - it is the second time he has killed someone - the first was a friend in a stolen car when he crashed and ran off leaving his 'mate' dead.
He has a conviction list of 49 offences and had just been out for 3 months from a 6 year sentence of which he did 3.
In my opinion he ought to get 25 years and have his hands chopped off.

He is going down for a min 10 years (surprisingly), he has 89 previous, his last crash killed his 15 year old mate, he ran away from this too. As Flash will testify, I am quite a moderate sort but I would volunteer to slot this waste of fresh air, why did it take all this pain and misery before something was done?

Unfortunatley, if he get's 10 years or more, it'll be a miracle. If he just walked up to her and battered her to death, would people still think the same? He'd get life or be carted off to the nut house.

Why should Twoccers only get a community sentence then Gargamel?
Isnt having your car stolen then torched a serious thing anymore or sommat?
Out in the wild wild west of years ago, steal a horse and its a hanging offence.
If scum who steal cars arent dealt with harshly(very) the first time, then whats the incentive to stay out of trouble?

Car theives should automatically lose a finger on a first offence.
I think that would kinda concentrate their puny minds.
All this nonsense about community service and probation is bollox.
Its been tried and dosent work, so scrap it and get medeavil on their asses.
Second offence for theft they should lose a hand, sounds harsh dont it?
But id bet the crime rate would drop overnight by 95% if thats what they KNEW WOULD happen to em, if it was me, id not risk it.
Call me uncivilised, call me wicked even for not supporting the "poor little boy", why should I?..hes a scumbag, content only to help himself to others hard earned possesions, and if someone gets in the way, they can have a beating too...
Thats the kind of mindset these turds have, no consideration, compassion and no remorse for what they do to their victims.

News said he would get 10 years, but I feel like the rest on here it will be less.
