You mean Wick? Thurso?

Oh, I guess you probably mean England..... What we think of as the "Deep South" here in Scotland

I think there's various PHers from Newcastle

Ah, Thurso. Furthest North (mainland) kebab shop in Britain. Bloody good kebab too! (But hardly worth the drive unless you happen to be in the area anyway)

In the 'wastelands' of the NE - Middlesbrough . Very few tvrs in this neck of the woods and I suspect even fewer PH'ers. From what I remember reading there are quite a few in the Newcastle/Tyneside area, several in Darlington and one in Billingham! Pretty small meet then!

Currently live in Newmarket so I am one of those "cambridge lot", but from the 'boro originally. I think that I need a refresher in the lingo (and see me mam) so if it fits might pop in any meet.... though 'boro or surrounding area would be good.

Cheers,

Paul

I'm newcastle originally - now afflicted with uni in sunderland (oh *how* much fun! )

I've seen a good few TVR's round the n/east, probably all come from HHC hehe! (sadly, I'm not an owner yet - being on a yearly income of a bag of pasta!)

I'm from South Tyneside.

You'll see my Cerb blasting around most weekends.

I'm in Newcastle. Although no car at present, I would have to attend any meeting via the vageries of the public transport system, still it might be nice to finally meet some other PH'ers.

I'm in Darlo but I'm not sure the Jag qualifies me as a pistonheader any more!

Pinkney - saw your cerb down at the UGC a few weeks back. Aren't you worried parking it there? I was paranoid when I left the Griff while I went to the cinema.

BTW: There are a fair few TVRs rumbling around here

I'm from Newcastle, but currently live and work in the Big Smoke! If someone organised a meet I would come back to the North East for it!

Possibly up for a meet, though the TVR Owners meet on the last Tuesday of the month at the Three Mile (Gosforth) is pretty good with plenty of room for more.
Stocksfield, Minimax? Thats a bit posh for us Cram lads! Me marra runs Stockfield Car Care Centre (used to be Miniline), up in Mickley. Probably a good supply of Mini bits and think his rates are reasonable.

I work in Newcastle.

I'm always slightly amused by what constitutes 'the North' when meets are being organised.

Cheers.

Aye, the Three Mile isn't that far from me either - certainly not with four-wheeled propulsion at my bequest!

Just a couple of quick questions about the meet on the last Tuesday of the month in Gosforth.

What time does the meet generally happen? Is it a daytime or evening thing? I don't unfortunately have a TVR (I wish) but I would love to come for a goggle and listen. (That is if non TVR drivers are welcome!)

Also I am not familiar with the venue - any chance of a map/directions at all?

Many Thanks in advance.

Phil
