Thought I'd do a quicksurf to see what she was up to(as you do) and she is looking amazing(as always).

All alone in my apartment and resisting the urge to do something stupid. How do you keep an ex off your mind?

(BTW you can't get ex's off the mind. However I've found it extremely beneficial if they go to another country for a long time..)

Also l think you should have words regarding pasting flattering photo's of herself on the web, that's really not on if you are trying to move on.

I am trying not to think about calling/emailing to see how she's doing.

I'm always traveling so being in the same place for too long is never a problem. Mind you, so is she. I dread being in the same airport or worse still same plane or sitting next to her on said plane As for the flattering photos...she's a model so there is B**ger all I can do about that.

They always look just that much better when you've split up eh? F**#!

Def. not a journalist. I am a PH first and foremost, everything else I do mearly keeps me on the roads in the cars I love. 250GTO, 330P4 will take a little more work though

For all the obvious reasons plus it keeps me working hard. There's nothing like a target(and I have hit every target so far)to keep you motivated.

First it's about getting the credits to buy a classic. Then you'll have to convince someone who has enormous amounts of cash and a passion for cars to sell it to you. Tough route I've decided to take but it will be worth it

Yeah, i'll go with mungo on this one. You have to cut off *all* contact. Think you can handle e-mail?, forget it. It will just set your mind running wild.

Even if you have her back it wouldn't be the same as it was before, and she might even start complaining about your obsession with cars!

Best just to forget she exists and invest in some high-quality R18 videos...they should tide you over!

Let it go, its not worth the hassle.
They know they have us by the wotsits and they like to see us wriggle when they pull on them.
Went thru a very messy situation myself, took me 2 years and then some to clear it out my clouded head, but now? well ...waahaay!! Im free, to do what i want, at any old timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...(sung in a soup dragon stylee voice and tune).
Devote your energies to squeezing huge v10s and v12s into little cars and turbos hanging off everything...itll be a whole lot more fun.

Think it was Dorothy Parker that said something along the lines of 2 ways to deal with an ex. 1, don't write, don't ring, don't think about them. 2, get to know them better, then do 1.

Most recent ex started seeing another guy a few months before she walked out. Lied to me about it; I thought the world of her and ignored it. Finally, she confesses and leaves, but after 1 last night which I swore wouldn't happen - I knew waking up in each other's arms would mean more tome than her.

Point is, would I want someone back that did that to me? Hell no.. There might be a reason you guys split up. Think about that, then put it in a box and get on with your life. Tough, but has to be done..

Personally found a 3rd way, relates to post I quoted. When I discovered how much money I wasn't spending all of a sudden, I bought my 1st TVR! Am I happier now? You betcha!!

You've all agreed that breaking off all contact is the way to go, BUT, what if children are involved. Contact is needed (or is it not?) for the well being of the children involved.

So the question for agony PH is, how do you get over an ex while you have to maintain contact?
