I find myself becoming more and more irate every time I hear the news these days and see the discussions on this Forum regarding Asylum, Criminals being let off with everything, going to war to further Blairs political career, Speeding being targeted as the only crime worth cracking down on etc etc etc.

But driving home last night I wondered why.

I live in a nice village with practically no crime, no illegal immegrants, I'm not a soldier so I won't go to war, my village is unlikely to be the target of any terrorist activity and I have had a clean driving license for some years now (surprisingly) !

But it still all pisses me off !!!

Why ?!?!?

because you're still *paying* for all that shit..

And you'll be lasered by a grunt in a van one day whilst heading to or from your backwater idyll.

Anyone who's a true PHer and has a clean license is living on borrowed time - Fact!

Why do I care ?
I live in a nice area yes but on the edge of a not so nice with high crime, it's in the SE so full of illegals/asylum seekers (we has several roads closed close to the factory last week after a savage gang knife fight between Albanians and Kosovans), My brother is a soldier and due to deploy in few weeks, My wife works in the heart of the city so is an obvious terrorist target, and I got GATSO'd just before christmas I think I've earned the right to be Mr Angry.

Ok mel, It seems you've got good cause to be Mr angry.

I think the reason I'm Mr angry is because it's becoming more and more likely that if the current government is in power much longer my backwater idyll will cease to be so, and I'll have to find another one further from Blairs influence.

And yes Carzee my clean lisence is a constant source of amazement to me and annoyance to my friends who haven't been so lucky so far.
