Inspired by the cat thread and some of the silly and other very obvious names, what have some of you crazy guys called your loving animals?

I realise this is one of those threads that might die on it's arse but I'll kick off with a goldfish called Rambo (seemed nothing could kill him but sadly at the ripe old age of 14 he was flushed ) and a Pekingese (fluffy flat faced dog) called Boomer.

I have a tabby farm cat called Tuscan.

Because he's fast and sleek.

He used to have a brother called Button. After Jenson. Because when he was a little kitten he was crap at going around corners......

Two cats Sooki, for no other reason than it sounded nice, and Boomer, 'cos he is loud. Alternatively they are called toothless and bird/mouse/frog/worm/rabbit killer.

Big fat lump of lard (white moggy) called Casper and a small grey tabby (also moggy) called Chloe. Both were rescue cats from the RSPCA and both chose us by either shouting - Casper refuses to Mieow - or jumping on our shoulders.

My German Shepherd is called Muvesz, this is Hungarian for artist, because his face is a picture. My first Golden Retriever is Dorka (a normal Hungarian girl's name) and the second is FIFA (as in football) because the first owner was a football fan, she does not mind though.

When we got two cats from the RSPCA, we called them 'revels' and 'minstrels'. I'm a bit of a choc'oholic you see! Unfortunately minstrels got run over
