I've got mixed feelings.
Its all a bit "wall-street" - who has the brightest tie and snorts the most coke. "Lunch is for pussies" hehe. There also isnt much by the way of plot....lets see if we can get Mr X to sign document Y by the end of the show.
On the other hand, it is trashy entertainment and Im about to waste 1 hour before bed watching it on tape.

Now you are talking, I'm afraid I also agree with you CZ, I'm being very agreeable today
West Wing is a top programme
but at the moment Trust is one of the better BBC series on at the moment that is homegrown and not American.Watched it last night and have to say it get better, the bit about "gay envy" was very funny!

Saw the first episode. Dumb-down formula-TV at its worst. The dialogue is dreadful. TV companies insult our intelligence these days. Probably because most people are thick; you only have to look at the ratings for Eastenders to confirm that.
Shame, because I think Robson Green is a good actor.

They played series 1 over the last week, series 2 starts tonight. Quite entertaining....
Hmmmm - I'll watch the second series but it's on probation.
I was in a real book group once and it was a lot more entertaining than the TV version (mainly because most of the other members were liberals/christians, and I'm niether. Probably just boring for them, in retrospect)

are you for real! what do you compare it to, heartbeat, 2 thousand acres of sky, casualty, holby city, footballers wives, etc etc?

They're all in the same category as far as I am concerned.
I enjoyed 'Cruise of the Gods' over christmas. I also quite enjoyed that wife-swap thing that Robson Green was in (until the second half where it went a bit stupid). '24'was good too.
