What to go for?!?

Hi all,
Im looking for a bit of advice,
I have recently been lucky enough to come into some money and im hoping to buy a car for between £20K-£26K.
I will be using the car as an everyday runner but I will be keeping my BM incase I need the extra seats.
I want a two seater sports car that is very fast, looks the dogs bol**cks, Handles like a dream & has some creature comforts!
What is the best car that I can buy for my budget??

I would echo the advice to go for a Griff / Chim, depending on the look you prefer. These are dependable, fast, loud and loaded with creature comforts. Not too expensive to run and depreciation is very flat.
Go for the biggest engine you can, 5 litres, if you don't you will only regret it later.
The Griff is supposed to be a more 'pure' sportscar than the Chim, and they are 6 times rarer than the Chim so the Griff 500 would be my choice, but then I am biased!

I went for the S2000, but you cant ignore the Chimaera, just remember that running cost may be considerably higher. You also shouldn't ignore the Elise, even if you have to compromise on comfort (it was to much of a compromise for me as my size elevens found the pedals a bit of a problem and the roof is a joke).
How about an Exige?
(For that sort of money a supercharged one is a distinct possibility.)
How does a Marcos Mantis strike you?
(Always fancied one myself)
Or a Griff 500, or a Cerbera, or a Chimera...
Ferrari 308's and 328s are possible although not sure they would suit as a daily driver.

I went to look at an Esprit V8 last weakend. A very nice looking car indeed!! Ive also seen a few Tuscan speed six's in my price range as well as a few ferrari 348's. Ive always dreamt of owning a ferrari but I might wait a wile for one of them! (Im still only 25)

Im getting a bit pissed off with this country taking the piss out of us drivers!! Why is it that the insurance companies can get away with this sort of rip off day-in day-out!?!?
I guese i'll have to use the bonuses on the new car and watch them rob me blind on my BM!!!
You would have thought that the no claims would be able to be used on bolth cars, I mean its not like I can drive them both at the same time is it?!?!?

There are apparently a few companies that will mirror a no claims bonues across to a second vehicle.
Try a search in the archives as Im sure its been discussed a few times.

I would have suggested one of a few porsche's you could pick up for that money but after seeing that marcos 
But if it's just a second car for trackdays, sunny day blats then go for a Westfield and alot of people DO use them as everyday runners. They're fantastic, handle like a go-kart, damn fast, and you'll get plenty of looks.
If you go to a specialist company on limited mileage you will get insurance for under £1000 at 25, on 3000 miles a year, aged 18 it'll cost be £1800 on my Westi.
If you go for a second hand one, you will get something VERY fast, IIRC I THINK someone is selling their twin bike engined Westi, that'll out accellerate almost anything you throw at it.
