Comic threatens to take Blair to court
Mark Thomas says he will take Tony Blair to court, should he declare war on Iraq.
The comic claims the Prime Minister could be in breach of international law by supporting any US-led attack.
He said: "We're going to do our utmost to prosecute."
Thomas has already held a benefit to raise the legal fees to take Britain to the international court in The Hague.
"We stand a good chance of getting this investigated," he said. "It's fantastic we can do that.
"If we can force the Prime Minister of Britain into the dock for war crimes, I'd give three cheers for democracy - and it's been a long time since I've done that."
Thomas's action comes as he addresses the issue in a Channel 4 special: Mark Thomas... Weapons Inspector, to be aired on Friday.
The show has just been edited, and Thomas said: "Some of it works very well, and other bits suffered because Channel 4 originally asked for 40 minutes, them made it 24 - so we've had to cram stuff down."
Stunts in the show include Thomas trying to gain entry to Buckingham Palace to look for weapons, and trying to board nuclear submarines at Faslane Naval Base in Rosyth - from a pedalo.

It's funny in a way because I always thought that if GWB and WAPL go to war without UN backing, they could end up in a holding cell in Holland waiting for Milsevic's trial to be over sot hey can have their turn..
As you can imagine, I'm rather welling up at the thought of it
Can you imagine them being put in a cell with Mugabe and his boys
That aside, Mark Thomas should be put in an electric chair, but don't switch the chair on until he's witnessed his entire extended family being tortured to death
Edit: From the title of the thread I expected to read that Viz are suing New Labour for ripping off Terry Fcukwit and Milli Tant.

Bring it on, if it's law it's law and he should have a fair crack of the whip. Still if you can't get pinochet then it could prove tricky...
Not sure what you've got against Mr Thomas though Carz.
At the bottom level he wants a democracy ruled 'by the people for the people'. Not 'by the few(government) for the few(government cronies/ whichever multinational is paying)' which is what we currently have.
Ok his policies start to extend out to taxing the middle classes which is what I assume you gripe about (being a reader of the Daily Mail etc etc etc).
P.S. What lives under a bridge and eats billy goats?
