Hey Ted - gottabe an opportunity for a little income - howzabout get onto ginster's or melton mobrey people, and offer up sponsorship of pistonheads for pie related matters? - saw someone looking for a pie logo, and set me thinking? - probably some people on here who have pie contacts - go for it!!!

Open to approaches but I think concentrating my efforts on car related sponsors may be more fruitful!

The chaps son who owns Pukka Pies used to have a Griffith 400 that he bought new from Graypauls, Loughborough when they were a TVR dealer in 1994, he usd it in his adverts with the lady in the skimpy skirt - still seen all over the world in chip shops.

He is the youngest son of the owner if you are after them, they are based at the Halfcroft, Syston Leicestershire. I think he now races MGB's and drives a Jaguar everyday - but he loves cars.

Worth a go and Saxby Pies in Northampton might be worth a call while your at it.

What about mister Kipling - he makes exceedingly good cakes - but also pies - apple, apple and custard, apple and blackberry - or good old Fray Bentos - their pies come in cans - which is slang for exhaust rear box - which is motoring related!

I'm with Ted on this one - back to the cars.....

...don't need reminding about pie intake any more than fuel consumption figures
