Why did these 8 countries sign up for war??

We know why Britain signed up.. what about the others?
Italy, Spain, Portugal and Denmark, and three countries due to join next year - Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
What political motive do they have? Spain and Italy may want our support in maintaining their subsidies in the face of expansion. Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic might be obliged to repay our welcoming their workers upon joining the EU, which several other EU countries refuse to do for 7 years.
Denmark? Haven't the foggiest.. some kind of shared strategy on crowbaring their reticent public into the Euro perhaps?
Portugal.. dunno.. subsidies again I guess.

Ummm? Why does there have to be an alterior motive?
Isn't the fact that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction good enough?
Why would any country want a rogue state with these kind of weapons to be allowed to just get on with it?

What's a rogue state? Why aren't the US or the UK rogue states? Or Israel? Or India and Pakistan?
Most importantly, who decides what's a rogue state and what isn't? And what gives any state the right to go marching into the territory of another, pretty much willy-nilly? That's what the international order (UN etc) is supposed to prevent, but Dubya reckons he's goin' in there anyhow.
Nothing to do with oil, no sirree! Does money talk? And I guess avenging his daddy's reputation wouldn't have anythin to do with either.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree, the UK doesn't pose a military threat to other countries around the World for just going about their daily business. That's why we aren't a rogue state, its unfortunate that is the term we give certain countries, maybe there is a more appropriate descrption.
However, a country like Iraq can't be compared with a democracy like the UK because by all accounts the majority of people in Iraq would rather the country wasn't ruled by Hussain, but are too afraid of the consequences to stand up for themselves.

I think the UK is the only true ally to the US in Europe, as opposed to friendly nation that may describe other states.
As far a Europe is concerned it is currently a Franco-German venture, and that needs to change and we all knwo whilst the french are great cooks and the germans make good cars, they couldn't organaise a piss up ina brewery or make important decisions in time- ditherers the lot.
The events in Bosnia and Kosova are a case in point.
