Who's not making it into work today?

Well me for starters - not just coz I don't fancy a 25 mile drive in the snow in my Nova
10 miles of which is on country roads, but because I have also got a bad back.
If I get really bored I might have a play on this site www.baddriving.com adding the muppet in the Mondeo who was driving down our road having cleared the snow to give him two small portholes - one front and rear.

11 miles into work this morning and it got a bit "interesting" a coupla times!
Have however cancelled todays 400 mile round trip on the M1/A1 though....
BigM - you don't want to be playing games, you want your SO to chuck a sicky too and spend the day feeding you peeled grapes and rubbing your sore back

Unfortunately I am at work already - home! Being a homeworker I dont have to travel to the office. BUT, I can never use the excuse of bad weather...
FunkyGibon - is the A14 really solid? Was thinking of venturing out today / tomorrow for a couple of things, but wont bother if it really is closed / solid...
Cheers,
Paul

Been here (Charing Cross) since just after 7am. Normal drive from Windsor / M4 / London. No probs at all - but my wife was in Bracknell yesterday and said it was bad there. I think I was just (un)lucky!
Of course was being taken out to lunch today by a supplier - who's in Rickmansworth and can't get his Jeep out of the drive - bang goes a free nosh up - bah!!!

Paul, heard on Radio 5 that A14 is solid from Huntingdon to Newmarket. I wouldn't leave the house mate!

Paul,
Just looked out of the window and West bound traffic on A14 is not moving at all. Colleague from Mildenhall has being trying for 1 hour to get to Cambs, and has turned round.
So, stay put!

maybe no-one else will come in

Amazing - just phoned the Drs to get an appointment - "Can you come along at 10.20 this morning?" Is this a record?
