Anti freeze in washer bottle !

out in the snow and slush this afternoon , washer bottle runs empty , drop into a local garage , pick small bottle of washer fluid off shelf ask if there is a watering can and tap . Yes says numpty but don't you want this bigger bottle it will be more economical , always one for the economy route grab the bigger can and after paying , proceed to fill washer bottle up . Drive off and try new fluid and it immediately smears the screen , assumed it was Cr*p fluid so think no more about it , just use it only when absolutely ness.
Get home latter and unload family and shopping take remains of can into house , label catches my eye "Two Year Guarantee" ............."Summer Coolant"..........

Make angry phone call to Numpty
, then spend the next hour thawing out frozen hozepipe 
to flush out washer bottle and swill down car while rest of family eat their tea before missus Farmer has to go and do night shift at work on Sh*tty roads with just water in washers

Get home latter and unload family and shopping take remains of can into house , label catches my eye "Two Year Guarantee" ............."Summer Coolant"..........

If you get stuck, adding meths to the water helps stop it freezing, and a drop of ordinary washing up liquid helps clear the windscreen. Better than plain water/ice, anyway!

True, but a few years ago, I called into a garage late at night and asked for a bottle of screen wash (through the glass barrier thing as the station itself was closed up) but was given summer coolant.. Only noticed when I took the lid off and poured some in.. Went back fuming and they refused to acknowledge their mistake nor give me a refund or anything. Ok, I should have read the label, but I specifically asked for one thing and was given another.. Bloody annoyed..

Yeh Meths is ok not sure about washing up liquid though , read somewhere once that it is too searching and can remove rust inhibiting "stuff in your joints and crevises (Calm down boys
)this letting in rust . However it is also true that had I read the label it would have helped
