Wheres the best place to go out?
Are there any resonably clubs in the area?

Am buying a house down their due to my new job, and know nobody down their apart from some miserable hotel staff.

I live in maidstone and go out there most weekends. There some great bars/pubs, just depends what you like doing.

For some "upmarket" bars, try Frobishers, project Blue, possible The Source bar. Quigleys is quite good for Jazz, as is Pizza Express. Drakes (by the river) is friendly but plays very loud music.

Strawberry Moons is a cheesy nightclub, which can be fun. There is also the under 18's Grunge club, called The Union bar (not attached to any Uni, though).

The Druids Arms (nee Hogshead) is a good pub for real ale
Ashes is a good pub for slappers and the over 40's women

And we have two wetherspoons (exciting, eh??)
Accross the river there is the "lockmeadow complex" which has an Icon nightclub (Kwikfit boyz on a night out)
Junpin' jacks (kwikfit boyz too aggressive to be allowed into ikon)
and the carpark (Kwikfit boyz with their Saxo's...)

(Oh, london is only 1 hour train journey away, but the last train is at midnight). West malling has some nice restaurants an a few nice bars, and there are plenty of nice country pubs suitable for dates!

I am not going to be at Virgina Water I am afraid due to the fact that I am doing some work on or rather under! the car today and sunday. Hope that you have a good one.

Not normally down in maidstone at the weekend at the moment till I move into my house (fingers crossed) early march. Am certainly not adverse to a beer during the week though Any good?
