Car alarms that phone you?

I've seen an advert in Motorcycle news once about an alarm that had a phone chip in it and dialled you if it went off. I've also heard that you can get it for cars too.

Anyone know anything about this please?

Article in the Sunday Times Driving Section a couple of weeks ago. May be worth a search on their web site .

They quite liked them. Apparently you can remotely immobilise the car (when it comes to a rest), and even talk to the scrote driving it

I heard about this on the Suzuki B-King, when it gtes nicked it phones you and your voice will come out of a speaker

Some clifford alarms can have a pager added to them so it pages you when the alarm goes off.

Hmmm, the Trakm8 seems a bit too much for my needs, somthing that will work on the doors sensors and/or ignition and movement would do for me. I've already got a cat 1 on it.!

Might make do with the pager, more crap in my pockets.
