Ive stared putting super unleaded (97ron) in the kwack ZX6R as of today , What a difference kev the kwack pulls stronger spits flames on over run and just seems very happy and a lot smoother on the throttle , almost ran out of fuel when i topped up the bike was coughing as i got onto the forecourt of the garage Not going back to normal unleaded now just got to try some optimax now and see if the flames grow , cant do the wadding in the can any good , also the girl at the counter gave me her number as she wants to come out on the bike she also liked my helmet

I can imagine:
Uhhhh, Mister! Stylish helmet you got there! Take me for a ride?

I must try that the next time. Do you think a white helmet is appropriate?

Dont see any tongue marks on that one.

I take it she didnt have her tongue pierced then otherwise your Helmet would look slightly worse for wear.

Ive always used normal unleaded cos im tight took a few miles for the super unleaded to take effect and then the bikes just seemed less jerky on the throttle and when given some [mungo]jonny large potatoes[/mungo] just took off it picked the front off the ground in second just by accelerating hard , its surprising what the 2 extra rons do

LO

Me want Pie

For about £330 i think they are well worth it, i like the one on the hompage on th ewoman holding her devils dumplings , with the George cross bandana airbrushed on.

Mind you looking at the chips on mine i would never wher one like that for the fear of ruining it.

Just to steal the thread for a while, and all this talk of Skid Lids, what is the best make?!

Safety
Comfort
Aero D's

etc, which is recommended?

I understand that it's all down to personal choice, but it's good to get pointed in a decent direction!

How much do you have to spend, if I had the money (I know, how much do I value my head, but I don't have that much so I bought what I could afford) I'd go for an Arai helmet, for me they seemed the most comfy, everyone's head is shaped differently but Arai seem to have a decent range, AGV are pretty good, the Simpson Bandit may look menacing but is uncomfy on your forehead (can get quite painful) the Simpson RX7? (the one the Stig uses on TG and the 'tiger' one pictured above) is alot more comfy and still looks damn fine, quite expensive though.

Just go and try some ones you like on.

My lid is made by HJC , its very comfy , not too noisey , stuck a foggy face mask in and now doesnt steam up when i sneeze , most helmets are good best thing to do is try a few and see which fits you best
