.shop www addresses ???
Discussion
Has .shop been set up as a proper Top Level Domain? If not, it might require some plugin on the user's PC to make it work - there were some others like this recently - damned if I can remember the domains though.
I think there will always be an air of superiority carried by the .com and .co.uk domains which the new stuff will never achieve. Having a good .com says that you have been around long enough to get one and gives you the best chance of attracting the largest number of visitors. After all, if you wanted to find Sony on the web, you'd go to sony.com first. Well, I would anyway.

Good point. Thanks all.

Nope its just a new.net fake one which as you say needs a plugin, the kind that along with spyware is installed with programmes like Kazaa.
Best to avoid, few people can use them (if the link www.level9.mp3 works then you have the plugin, if not it proves what crap this service is)
The best clue to the fact its crap is that the main company behind it uses a normal .net for their website!
And what if .shop gets released as a 'real' TLD, your fcuked then.
Anyway the domain market isn't half what it used to be so even if the domain you want is already gone as long as it isn't in use by a big company then don't expect to have to pay too much to get it from them.
So in short - no!
