FUNGUS The BOGEYMAN
Discussion
Was up in my loft earlier and stumbled across some old books from my Yoof.
Two of them were of the Green, Three Breasted Man called Fungus who used to go around scaring women while bathing (sound familiar Mungo
).
One was a normal soft back and one a 'PLOP UP' (yes plop)
Anyone else rember these and are they worth anything yet even though i shant be getting rid of them as i lurv Bogeys.

Yes I also owned both and my friend still has and uses her Fungus the bogeyman hot water bottle.

Yup I think my daughter still has her copy around somewhere. I recall that some of it was blacked out by the publishers so parents didn't have to explain what 'genets' were...!
From memory (here we go...) his wife was Mildew, the son was Mould, and they read 'oldpapers' and spent their lives perfecting the art of engendering warts.
Ah, now if only I could remember USEFUL things I might have a well-paid job...
Incidentally, the guy who wrote the computer game version of Fungus lived near me a good few years back: he actually changed his name by deed poll to Fungus T. Bogeyman!!
