Buying an import from Cyprus

I've been offered a Renault Scenic (don't worry, second car )sourced from Cyprus - anyone have any experience of this?

I'm finding it impossible to check the exact spec... as Renault don't seem to have a Cyprus website...

Only problem I know of with Cyprus sourced cars is that the warranty will not be valid here (it's not an EU member state so it's not like yer usual EU import)
