Garage floor covering?
Discussion
Does anyone know where I can get rubber/pvc floor covering from? I want to put something over the concrete which is in fairly poor condition. A rubber/plastic tile or roll seems ideal - about 6mm or more thick.
DURA (as in the fitted garage furniture people) do inter-locking pvc tiles, but at £6.95 + VAT per tile (50cm x 50cm) - it would be cheaper to put down some finest wilton.
Machine Mart also do some, but only rolls in 1m widths.
My intial Google seacrh didn't throw up much...
Thanks guys
Andy

I like the look of this stuff if you're prepared to apply it yourself. Not cheap but looks like you'd only need to do it once.

If any one out there has used this I'd be interested in hearing how easy it was.
My main problem is going to be clearing the floor to paint it in the first place - especially since I've just bought another Alfa.....

The problem I have is that some parts of the concrete floor have become badly pitted - leavibng a surface that the trolley jack wheels can't roll over properly. I was therefore after something that would sit over the top of this, as I don't fancy trying to fill and level the floor. If it weren't for this I'd just paint the thing!

Anything you put over the top of the floor such a rubber Matting will probably bed down into the ruts over time.
Levelling using self levelling screed fom Wickes would probably be your best option, its in-expensive and easy (does exactly what it says on the tin
