Mouth/foot conjunction problem

I suppose I should have read the signs and kept my big mouth shut. But NO! I HAD to do it didn't I?
Sooooooo, having spent most of last night trying to persuade wifey that my 400se is a bit slow ( ) and what I really need now is to buy the SUPERCHARGED (yes, SUPERCHARGED) 400SX currently for sale in PH classifieds, I finally twigged this morning (my Birthday) why she was getting so upset/agitated with me, when I opened my pressies and found a luverly set of stainless steel kick plates etched with the legend "400se".
Anyone got any silver tippex............

Happy birthday etc. Don't want to teach granny and all that but you know to check the door bolts on the bottom won't scratch the plates?

I'll fit them on saturday.
I'm planning to do some serious research afterwards into the impact on the cars performance following fitment.
Of course this will involve a fair bit of high speed work on twisty roads in the Derbyshire/south Yorks area. :sigh:
It's a noisy job, but someone has to do it.

I also found that soapy, but not too much only a bit, fingers helpedhhermissis:
Stoped you accidentally attaching it to your hand, then foot etc rather than the car. Tip I was given by a sign stickeronerer once. The glue is very sticky.
Testing is a must, after all its extra wieght, and the aerodynamics are better.
