AAARGH! I renewed on my RS2 today for just over £1,000 (and still 100 cheaper than five others) and the Liverpool Victoria quick quote gives me £550 - £650!

I'm 35, 7 years NCB and live in a lower risk area. It refused to give me a quote on my Tuscan. I then tried to a quote on a Ford Ka, and it still refused me! Bizarre.

I got my insurance through these guys, £150 cheaper than anyone else.

My insurance has gond down from £900 last year to £577 this year! 32, and 4 years no claims on a group 20 car.

I have had the same motor policy since 1963, it has been provided by a succession of different names but has been LV for some years. Never had a claim so I can't comment on that but they have been very sympathetic to a number of looney or modified vehicles and have a super efficient administration. I have never had a cheaper quote from anybody.

They are choosey. They are not prepared to insure my 19 year old son on any thing with even a hint of umph.Their quote for my daughter, 26 years old was £600 comp, nearest quote was £1300, enough said.

Each renewal notice seems to bring new benefits.

I've given up looking elsewhere.

Sorry, got to go against the flow a bit here.

I have just finished with them after 2 years. This year they wanted £550 to insure my Mundane. Changed my car last year, and had to wait all weekend to get hold of them as their lines were closed.

I've gone to Elephant, with a quote of £340.

And as an aside, I now know where 'More Than' get their name from - £720, FFS.

hmm already posted on this but i've no idea how to post a link to another thread (I know, I know!) suffice to say they saved me nearly £100 and covered me F/C as opposed to TPFT with no excess and unlimited mileage. Nice.

edited to say: the other broker was Adrian Flux, their quote also included a 12.5% discount for being a member of the N.E mini club (L.V did not).
