Final Destination 2
Discussion
I was kicked out of the house tonight so an Anne Summers party could be held, so to kill the evening I pottered out to watch Final Destination 2 with a couple of mates.
This film is COMPLETELY awesome :P
Lots of excellent death scenes, plenty of suspense and few nice plot twists.
Not so much a scary movie as something that might make you jump a couple of times.
If you havent seen it, go see it immediately :P
If anyone else out there has seen it, whats the deal with the wierd guy in the crematorium? The film never really explains who or what he is...

I fancied going to see it but only if its sufficiently different from the first film?
Regarding the guy in the crematorium he is in the first one as well and I never knew who he was???
Its the same sort of plot as the first film, however its very well done. If you liked the first (I did) then this one is better.
If you couldnt stand the first one, I doubt that the sequel will entertain you much more.
28 days later should be out on dvd any minute as well. That one is rather cracking :P

It's a nonsense title. Was not the first movie about a " FINAL Destination"?
True, but then again are you saying Night of the Living Dead parts 2 and 3 should be called More Nights of the Living Dead, or Another Night of the Living Dead, or A Different Night of the Same Living Dead?
What about Jaws 2/3 etc? Jaws 2 - A Different Shark would've been more appropriate.
Final Destination 2 is a fine title and by all accounts a decent film. Not sure about 28 Days Later though, Lemming. Bit of a wasted opportunity, but each to their own.

Oh, I see. the word FINAL means all those things, but the phrase FINAL DESTINATION surely means the place where you'll end up, or the last place you'll ever go. This film is about ANOTHER SET OF PEOPLE, who're presumably are their own journey to their FINAL DESTINATION, hence 2. Get mi drift?
