computer problem

just reformatted drive C and now the CDRom drawer keeps opening everytime i push it in, checked the driver on device menu and it says its okay, any advice apreciated.

Take a size 9 to the side of it, normally fixes probs with mine

Try disconnectiong the CDROM form the Motherboard then try closing it. If it stays shut then boot into dos and try closing it.

This will tell you if its got anything to do with the Operating System.

I think its likely that unless you've been playing with the BIOS/Jumper settings the CDROM has gone to heaven...
