following on from their "50 places to see before you die" the holiday program are asking for people to submit their "50 things to do before you die" and although i wouldn't put it at number 1, visiting le mans at least once in your life would be pretty high up my list.

you don't need to be a racing nut to go, though being a car nut may help!!! in our group last year i was probably the only one really interested in motorsport, the others just had a casual interest...
and out of our group this year one of my mates doesn't even care how the race pans out he's just coming along 'cos he likes what i've told him about the experience...

and thats what le mans is all about, the experience!!!

why else would you head down to central france in mid-summer, get sun burnt, drunk, sleep in a tent for a weekend and thrash the pants off your motor!?!
