PHers that Rock! Glastonbury 2003....
Discussion
After a hesitant start to the year, The Glastonbury Festival just been granted it's license ..
we're going... any other PHers going to make the pilgrimage?
(oh and we have relatives 15 minutes away, whose house we can goto for a shower and some warmth if we end up as piss-wet-thru as I did last time I went

Been in my grungy past but just don't fancy it now. On the subject of convenient relatives try aunt in law who lives on Silverstone and always has race week off cos she doesn't like the noise.
That'll be house sitting and complimentary tickets then - I thank you

As for line up, most years its a semi secret with it being released the week before.
This year though is different they will be releasing the line up as and when bands sign.
Oh, and you heard right REM are signed up... So look for lots of out of place middle class 30 somethings 'roughing it' just to say they saw them there.
Bloody REM - Pull that bus over to the side of the pretentiousness turnpike Michael...
Matt.

First time I went we were litter pickers (concessionary tickets etc.) had official looking jacket which resulted in free party pills all w/e as the posh kids panicked and dumped their stash when they saw us coming. Wasn't a particularly sensible thing to do as we didn't have a clue what anything might have been half the time

I'm not middle class and I'm 23 so I fit in quite nicely. I find it easy blending in with the scouse scallies trying to sell Stella outside the gates actually

well, you will - I'm not 30 until after Glasto
Anyway, I'll definitely be there, along with my good old Wigan mates. If you old timers want us to show you how it's done I'd be happy to oblige
And CarZee, there is no way you are under 30, and I'm not referring to the curmudgeon in you but to the pictures I've seen of you too

Was going to get onto the security team with my bro patrolling the fences (he knows a bloke who runs the security for a lot of these events) until we discovered that security weren't actually allowed to beat the hippys with sticks when we caught them any more

Apparently when that got round the bloke had a lot more trouble recruiting security guards - was a major perk of the job
