Needing some help!

I have 2 old NES systems in my possesion, neither of them work as I have a faulty power supply..2 questions..

1) Does anyone have a power supply lurking in their lofts that I could exchange beer for?

2) In the meantime I need to play Mario Bros on my PC as i'm really bored at work...anyone know any download sites for NES games?

Thanks in advance

From and sad 80's retro fan......

Might be able to help you out on this one - my sister has my NES in Nottingham at the moment and she asked me the other day if she could throw it out - I haven't replied yet, so I hope she hasn't just chucked it.

If she hasn't I'll see if I can get it sent to you - might take a wee while though as she is in the process of moving house.

Cheers

An alternative, abeit slightly more expensive, is to buy a chipped Xbox from

www.phoenixmods.co.uk

You get 1400 games preinstalled, these include a ton os SNES, Megadrive and old arcade games. Plus you get a games console that plays knocked off DVD's that cost £5 each.

I've got one, they're smart.

its not the same though....I need the dodgy 8 bit graphics and the mind-numbing music!!!

Plus I have a few origonal cartridges and a light gun to play with!

PS when I eventually get it working I will be playing it whilst listening to Mike and the Mechanics (vinyl) on my retro Sony Music Station and I might be wearing my ra-ra shirt too!

You still get the dodgy graphics and music.

The Xbox emulates the Snes/Megadrive/Neogeo same as your PC would, its just easier to use.

I was playing sonic the hedgehog for ages last night and streetfighter is still cool even after all these years.

Hmmmmmm tassles,

I've got a load of 80's vinyl that came with a job lot of albums I bought. If there's anything you want, give us a list
