Im running around trying to setup an online motorbike store, and I was wondering if you guys could give me a few suggestions as what you think I could sell? PH discounts will be available!!
eventually I will get a garage and quit the I.T rat race, and do bike services/mot's as well.

I want to aim at quality goods - ways to make biking better and safer, rather than just trying to turn a profit on cheap add-ons. So you wont see fluffy ears!

initially Im sticking to non owner specific ; ie not doing things that have 'sizes' like helmets and clothes

so far Im signing up suppliers for:

replacement OEM levers and indicators and new LED/carbon replacements (for minor crashes)
padlocks/disclocks and chains for the newbie congestion charge beating scooter owners
battery chargers (solar)
intercoms for helmets (for cruising with mates)
earplugs for hearing safety
datatagging kits (anti theft help)
replacement chains and cogs (for the DIY service folk)

any other ideas?

Just pick up the M&P catalogue and cherry pick it ....

Seriously if you want to do really good slip on race cans drop me an email and I'll let you have some good manufacturer contacts.

Motorbikes?

Sorry.

Good luck, anyway. Going it alone is the best thing I ever did.

Things that people need to get their Motorbike license.

CD's/Books containing information on the CBT, Theory Test, and Pratical Tests. etc.

I don't know how much stuff is available, but there is usually masses in WHSmiths etc.

Fake carbon fibre sheet?

Daft graphics that say things like 'F*** The World' and 'Wikkkkkidd'

T-shirts with 'If you can read this, the silly cow fell off' on the back

Seriously, good luck. Many's the time I've trawled the M&P and MPS catalogues looking for inspiration (in my biking yoof)... there's a GS1000 in beautiful condition for sale just round the corner from me... mmmm. Now if I was brave enough to get into more debt...
