There was a comment in a thread on here about there being lots of unused Stations and track, and someone said why arnt they used as the underground system is bursting as it is.

In the .com boom I went to a party in an old station, interesting experience. I can't remember the name but it was close to Charing Cross.

Sorry I didn't say anything, but it was the first thing I looked at this morning, and was very interested in the Holbourn stuff, as I used to 'mountaneer' up from the picadilly line to street level every day.

i'm interested, the only trouble is you posted the link just after midnight and i probably went there at 12:30, just when i was planning to go to bed...

but i stayed up until 2am reading that website (only scratched the surface) because it was quite interesting, also sent it to a mate who spent about an hour reading it...

Always been very interested in stuff like this - infact anything from the past thats been lost and forgotten, like old roads, canals, railways, airfields, bunkers, racing circuits etc... I didn't have much time to look while at work today, but its just my cuppa tea
