"Singer George Michael, one of the most high profile celebrities to speak out about Iraq, has urged young pop stars to abandon plans for a new Band Aid-style charity song.
Michael said today's chart stars were too manufactured and trivial for any song to carry weight. "

Too trivial ? Not like 'Wake me up before you go go dont leave me hanging on like a yo yo' eh George ?

The music industry should now be called the image industry. All the pop stars look like porn.

Don't knock the "Love Walrus" . . . and I don't mean Vanessa Feltz!

I enjoy the manufactured bands now - their shelf life is so short you ALMOST feel sorry for them - then you realise they are all pathetic . .

WTF makes George Michael an expert on foreign affairs anyhow, he can't even go to a public toilet without getting into trouble. These people have great deal of influence on impressionable young minds and should get on with churning out audible drivel and leave the politics alone

Trust me, you dont want to know.
Think bunch of men(boys), middle class, heavy marketing, no talent, dont write thier own songs etc etc.
The word TO$$ERS sums them up nicely though

Indeed. I've defected to classic FM in the hope of hearing more than 5 minutes worth of radio without the word piss or crap in it.

Also it is the only station apart from radio one that has a signal strong enough to pick up in the Griff

I have noticed I'm a much more placid driver with Classic FM playing though.

I am also a classic fm fan, except during daytime when they play military marches etc. I yearn for the type of freedom the US have for the airwaves.
