Missus new motor not ready - argh!
Discussion
Supposed to be collecting Miss Leadfoots new car at 2 pm, (Pug 307XSi) - just had a call from the dealer to tell me that the esp ecu has gone tits up. They reckon its a bumper/headlight off job to do & they might not have it ready for collection today. Apparently their Mechanics "only work 'till 1 o'clock", I did sugest that they might like to stay on & finish the job
Miss Leadfoot's out shopping at the mo', coming back at 1.30 so's we can go & get her new baby. She's gonna be one unhappy camper when I tell her
If the dealer pulls out the stops & gets the car ready today I'll name & praise them. If not...........

Bloody 307s....pilez of trash.
Nothing but trouble with em, same as all pugs.
406s are lovely too.
I had one of these shitters in, it was brand fire new, did the required service on it, carried out the required road test(carefully as usual) and parked it ready to be washed.
Tried to lock it using the remote to find that it didnt want to play ball.
Result was that it couldnt be started cos the ecu had a barney and immobilised the engine..ARGGHHHHHH
Customer isnt happy bout his "beloved" being late but what could i do?
Had to push it back round and into the shop, connect the diagnostics and re-initialise the bloody ecu.
Didnt work tho did it? No. Ended up having to do a download and reprogramme the pissing effort.
Not a good day, not a good car.
BTW, all peugoets come from the factory with the old ecu parameters, they cant be bothered to put the right ones in, they leave it up to the customers to complain before they do anything about it.
The same faults with all of em, 206 306, 406,607(har de har) crap pilez.
Wouldnt have jack to do with em, knowing what i know about em, and theyre french so thats a real spoiler.
