1934 MG Q (Super Charged) How much is it worth?

I think the type is correct i.e. MG Q. This a fully restored nuts and bolts restoration, an absolutely beautiful car, with a 950cc engine complete with Super Charger. Ran at a max speed of 124mph in the 30's, when the driver said to the co-driver, we're going around again, the co-driver promptly responded not with me in it you're not!! Obviously speed mattered in the 30's too!
The chap who has restored it did it for the love of the car(s) and its only been driven 10 miles since the restoration was finished.
I would dearly love to see this car come down to Le Mans or go to Goodwood for the Revival, the problem is persuading him that he should venture out.
In a way I do not blame him, he has invested many hours and a considerable sum of money in bringing this car back to life. Apart from this car he has restored several others, all of which reside at his home as pieces of automotive art. A very talented chap.
I would guess the other reason for not going out to face the perils of the UK's roads is the cost of insurance, which takes me back to the original qu. how much is a car like this worth - GBP250K?
If I can, whilst keeping his identity/location confidential, I'll get photographs of this car and the rest of a unique collection - assuming there's sufficient PH interest.

) 746cc, circa 113bhp, 8 made and sold as a two seater no doors, no wings, lights or windscreen for £595 in 1934. Predecesor of the K3 but by no means as famous or desirable.
K3 should go for around £100K depending on history. Paradise Garage www.paradisegarage.co.uk have a replica K3, based on a KN for £85K, a Q should have a similar value.

Started of as at 750bhp and was taken out to 950bhp. He would love to have a K3, was that a strait 6 though? The Q he has is 4 cylinder, started first time, ahh the smell of Castrol R!

Yes Q4, K6.... I love the smell of Castrol R so much that I have been known to add a dash to the petrol tank just for the wonderful aroma. I wonder if an R flavoured deo would sell, perhaps not but an R pillow spray at bedtime would ensure sweet dreams for old gits like yours truely.

The other way round...Q sold without wings or lights, you found a way to add them if you wanted to use it on the road.
Only a small detail but it underlines what a serious bit of kit if was, a sort of Westfield FW (or whatever the rear gearbox composite missile was called).

Whoops wishful thinking, a slip of the brain!!! Great car though. I'll get some pics in a few months and post them on PH, would be great to get her out on the roads.

Not sure whether he acquired the car with this modification already made or whether he added them to make the car road legal. I think the former.
