Hope someone knows whats happened. My car went into the garage today to have the timing belts done. Whilst in there they had some sort of electrical problem and had all sorts of wires bared under the dash. My alpine CD7892 was switched off at the time and does not have a switched live just direct. On the way home no sound at all. Plenty of lights and wirring from the CD and a very faint beep when turned on and off. The mute switch is definatley off but no sound.
Any suggestions guys?

I had this on my stereo.

Means they've connected the illumination wire but not the main power. Well, it does on 6 yr old Aiwa tape decks.

Hope this helps.
