.......the titles a bit deceiving but can you imagine the reaction if a tax was imposed on ramblers. Walking in the countryside could incur a £5 tax per day at key sites to pay for the damage done and to maintain the environment.

Do you suppose this curtailment of liberty would be accepted, considering a great number of walkers may also be in the anti-car lobby.
