I'm going to go home, read evo and nurse a hangover.

Anyone else doing anything today?

I'm enjoying the results of home made satay with home made (very) spicy peanut sauce, four beers, half a bottle Rosemount Estate GTR (GevurtzTraminer-Riesling) and a brandy.

Very nice last night. But not so good today. At least the cycle in cleared the head a bit...

Humph.
Got up at 0730.... in Dublin.

Spend 1.5 hours getting to ferry terminal. We're early, but the ferry's running late; slightly choppy crossing. Luckily I was on the seasick tabs. Unluckily they didn't start working right away...

Drive across Anglesey. Stop at Great Orme's Head for a quick climb on the rocks: quite surreal as seasick tabs have now kicked in.

Drive through Wales. Keep dozing off. Hit big traffic on M6. Join M62 and find we're in wrong lane so can't get into Birch services (busting by now after several bottles of water etc. en route).

Make it to Hartshead Moor, buy rancid pie and devour. Discover M62 at a standstill again.

Find M1 moving slowly. A1 ditto.

Finally arrive home 1930. Fix washing machine. Go to cash machine: find it's out of order. Go for a Chinese and find it shut.
Find another Chinese. Wait impatiently whilst some berk on drugs changes his order SIX times.
Eat whilst adding up work expenses for the week. Splutter. Decide against going to see me Julie now as I'm too trashed.
Write this crap. Go to bed. Tomorrow's another opportunity to waste money on lotto tickets.
Next week: Saudi. My part in Saddam's downfall.
